If anyone is near Westport, CT, the Bow Tie Cinema will be showing the Jeremy Fink movie at 7 pm, this Thursday, the 27th. Before that, at 4:30, the Westport Library is doing a panel on Book to Script to Film. Hope to see you there! (also a showing saturday morn at 10 but I can’t go to that one…)

A side note, however: As I’m sure you may know, November is the National Novel Writing Month (more commonly known as NaNoWriMo :))and part of the reason the novel that I’m working on for this program exists is because I was so inspired by Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life (the book ;)). Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU so much for writing it! It’s been such an inspiration to me! I can’t wait to see the movie!
Wish I could have gone. I want to see the movie so badd but I bettt it willl never be as good as your books are! I think that Jeremy fink and the meaning of life is one of your best books! How did you come up with the idea of writing it? It is amazing!!

My kids( they are Brody, 8 and Allison, 10) and I recently saw Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life. WE LOVED it! as life would have it, we received a copy of the book. As is our habit, I read to them most nights they are with me before they go to bed. We are 3 chapters in and even though we already know what happens, we are enjoying the book so much, we hate to put it down to go to sleep. Thanks so much. I look forward to reading the rest of your books to them. I am an avid reader who loves to read to my kids….rarely do I find a book that I enjoy as much as they do. This book is a treat…I look forward to discovering that the rest are just as fun and enjoyable.
