Dreamt about S’mores last night. Not sure what that means.

Happy Spring everyone! I’m sitting at my local library right now, watching out the window as 50 caterpillars wiggle in this crazy dance trying to free themselves from this white mesh thing in the tree, and you know what? It is totally gross. I’m in the middle of writing this scene where the boy in the Candymaker book is taking notes on the joyful progress of his caterpillar turning into a butterfly, and this is one of those occasions where fiction does not reflect the reality of the author. Shudder.
ANYWAY. I’ve got a lot to catch you guys up on, and have to drive down to the Jersey Shore to give a speech today, so I’ll have to write more later. Just wanted to get the word out about three fun events for anyone local to New Jersey.

I dream of s’mores too! Just wanted to let you know I am an elementary school librarian who started an afterschool book club with seven 5th grade(almost 6th grade girls). We are reading 11 Birthdays. I read the entire book last night and loved it! If we have any questions, I would love to submit them to you. We are so excited about your novels we can’t contain ourselves.
The girls thought you are very radiant and many of them read Every Soul a Star from our Scholastic Book Fair.
    Fondly,
    Roberta Bibbins

    hello
I just want to say that I love your “Every Soul A Star.” It’s really a great book.
I’m just wondering if you ever thought of making a sequel, like it’ll tell us more about what happened after Bree, Ally, and Jack separated? (laughs)I’m praying that you’ll do, it’ll be very neat.
    More power to you,
    Lee

    Hey!
I LOVE your books! HAHA, funny dream! My dreams came true! Like today, I had dejavu (SP?). I was going to a waterpark, today, and we had to drive up a steep hill surrounded by trees!
    My Dream:
We lost our kittens. So we went up a steep hill surrounded by trees. Turns out, our dad was taking us to a waterpark! It was weird! Bunnies and eggs, almost like easter!
    Bye!

I can’t wait till your newest book comes out. I have to finish reading all of your other books first though. I put like 4 of your books on request at my local library.
